Here, the Elementalist slips down to 7th place. Hardcore clearly diverges from the broader playerbase, with players naturally gravitating towards classes with significant survivability perks (though, it should be noted, that since this list includes only living Hardcore characters, the list naturally emphasizes tankier Ascendancies). While there are clearly unpopular picks, the gap between the most and least popular is smaller than previously.Ībove level 90 we see a sharper split begin to form, with the Elementalist and Juggernaut's relative popularity growing, and other classes - in particular the minion-based Necromancers and Guardians - falling back. The Elementalist remains the most popular pick (appropriately at 13.37%!), but the popularity of the next few ascendancies are closer than they've ever been before.
